Why can't I log in to my VideoAsk account?

Having trouble logging into your VideoAsk account? Donā€™t worry, weā€™ll get you back in and videoasking again in no time. Below youā€™ll find a few troubleshooting tips to help you on your way.

VideoAsk offers multiple ways to log in to your account. Before you begin, please make sure to use the same login method you chose when you created your account. Unsure of how you signed up? Reach out to the Support team by clicking Contact Support at the bottom of this page and using the email address you think youā€™ve signed up with.

Note: If you canā€™t log in, it could be related to a system-wide issue weā€™re working on. Check out our VideoAsk status page for the most up-to-date information.

I canā€™t log in with my email and password

You could have trouble logging in with your email and password if:

  • There's a typo in your email
  • You signed up with a different email
  • You've mistyped your password

You can reset your password to find out whatā€™s causing the issue. Click the I forgot my password link and enter the email you signed up with. Youā€™ll receive an email with a link to change your password and then youā€™ll be able to log into your account.

If you donā€™t receive an email after 15 minutes, check your Spam folder. If itā€™s not there, it could be that youā€™ve signed up with a different email or have a typo in your email address. Please reach out to our Support team by clicking Contact Support at the bottom of this page with as much information as possible and include the email address you think youā€™ve signed up with.

I canā€™t log in with my Typeform account

If youā€™ve signed up to VideoAsk with your Typeform account, youā€™ll need to click the Log in with Typeform button.

Youā€™ll be redirected to the Typeform login page. Enter your Typeform credentials and click Log in to Typeform. This will log you in to your VideoAsk account.

Note: If youā€™ve signed up to Typeform with Google or Microsoft, youā€™ll need to click either the Sign in with Google or the Sign in with Microsoft button on the Typeform login page.

I canā€™t log in with my Apple ID

If you originally signed up to VideoAsk with your Apple ID, click the Log in with Apple button.

Youā€™ll then be prompted to enter your Apple ID to sign in to VideoAsk.

Please reach out to the Apple Support team if youā€™re having trouble with your Apple ID.

I canā€™t log in with my Facebook account

If you signed up to VideoAsk with your Facebook account, click the Log in with Facebook button.

Youā€™ll then be prompted to enter your Facebook credentials to log in.

I canā€™t log into the iOS app

If youā€™ve signed up to VideoAsk with your email and password, click the Log in link on the iOS app.

Note: If youā€™ve signed up with Typeform, Apple, Facebook, or SSO, click on the button that corresponds with the method youā€™ve signed up to VideoAsk with. Youā€™ll be redirected to those servicesā€™ login pages to log in to your VideoAsk account.

Then enter your email and password on the next screen to log in.

I forgot my password

If you donā€™t remember your VideoAsk account password, click the I forgot my password link to reset it.

Note: You wonā€™t receive a password reset email from VideoAsk if youā€™ve signed up via Typeform. Youā€™ll need to reset your password through Typeform if youā€™ve forgotten your Typeform password.

Youā€™ll receive an email with the subject line Reset your password. Open the email and confirm your request by clicking the click here link.

Note: If you donā€™t receive an email after 15 minutes, please check your Spam folder. If the email isnā€™t in your spam folder, please reach out to our Support team with as much information as possible.

A new browser tab will open to reset your password. Enter your new password and repeat it in the second field, then click Reset password. Once your password has been reset, youā€™ll be able to log in to your account with your new password.

My account is blocked

Your account could be blocked if youā€™ve made too many failed login attempts by either mistyping your email or password too many times. Youā€™ll see the below message if your account has been blocked, but donā€™t worry, youā€™ll be able to unblock it!

An email will be automatically sent to the email address associated with your account with the subject line Account blocked. (If you donā€™t receive the email, please check your Spam folder, or you might have mistyped your email address. Reach out to the Support team if you don't receive the email.)

Open the email youā€™ve received and click the click here link to unblock your account.

The link will open a new tab in your browser and youā€™ll see the Account Unblocked message (pictured below). Then you can go back to the VideoAsk login page and enter your email and password or reset your password if youā€™ve forgotten it.
